Given the Delhi government's coveted award for 'Most Innovative Rain Water Harvesting' in 2007, Mr. M K Daga has personally charted out Orient's environmental policies. Our underlying belief & responsibility is that modern design must embrace sustainable & eco-friendly processes.

Apart from being accredited ISO 9001:2008 and with 'CE' for our Quality Management Systems, our manufacturing units are also certified ISO 14001 - 2004, the most complete & global expression for an environment friendly industrial company. As part of this commitment towards a greener planet, we do not emit any pollutants into the atmosphere & no waste water is discharged from the manufacturing units which is all recycled. Validating our efforts, TUV Nord (Germany) has granted us 21,000 Carbon Credits for our project 'Fuel Switching & Other Measures of Waste Heat in Industrial Complex at Orient'. We have also gained Carbon Credits through Voluntary Carbon Standards (VCS) by saving approximately 10,600 tons of carbon emissions every year through a system called Fluidized Bed Combustion Chamber (FBCC).
