Our Philosophy

Our corporate values have never compromised on environmental issues such as strict pollution emission controls which help build a better and greener society.

The good thing about the company policy is that there is no smoking in the work place. Each year trees are planted and saplings are distributed free, and ofcourse there is no felling of trees. This practice has been prevalant for over a quarter century.

Orient maintains 2 large green houses where plants are propagated, nurtured and multiplied. Preservation of Nature and Environmental Consciousness is a personal pursuit of our Chairman M.K. Daga.

For the sake of future generations, it is our moral duty to leave the environment in a better position than when it was handed down to us.

ISO-14001 Certification

Orient Ceramics is certified in accordance with ISO-14001 - International standard, the most complete and global expression for an environment friendly industrial company.

In May 2000, Orient Ceramics was awarded the prestigious ISO-14001 certification by the internationally recognized BSI Management Systems, U.K.

OHSAS-18001 Certification

We at Orient Ceramics have always given great importance to health and safety. At regular intervals, the factory and its offices are carefully examined to ensure that all safety equipments are in place. We have now achieved OHSAS 18001 Certification for Health & Safety Standards. This goes a long way to prove our commitment to health and safety.
